The San Juan International Mining Expo, the most federal gathering of the Argentine mining industry, will be held on May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at the Cepas Sanjuaninas venue in the province of San Juan. The event, organized by Panorama Minero and declared of interest by the main provinces with mining tradition, expects an influx of more than 15,000 people. Additionally, the official launch of the Copper Task Force will take place, with the presence of governors seeking to boost copper development in the country.

Panorama Minero's traditional sector fair, founded in 2006 with a biennial periodicity, will once again be the place where entrepreneurs, officials, international delegations, affiliated organizations, workers, and the general community can come together to learn about the prospects of one of the sectors that has been classified as one of the avenues of greatest economic and productive growth for the coming years.

Segments such as copper, gold, silver, lithium, and industrial minerals will have a stellar role in this platform, which for three days will feature stands for brand promotion and the presentation of products, services, supplies, and technologies applied to the industry. International conferences, training sessions, and activities for workers and young professionals, community meetings, and a fair for artisans and entrepreneurs will also be held, among other proposals.

As a highlight, during the 2024 San Juan Mining Expo, the Copper Task Force will be officially established, a joint working space between the provinces of San Juan, Salta, Catamarca, and the recently incorporated province of Mendoza, an initiative presented by the provincial governor, Marcelo Orrego, during his last business mission to Europe. In line with this, more than 15 countries linked to the activity will be present at the event, connecting local entrepreneurs and the political sphere with investors and delegations from abroad interested in Argentine mining.

The signing of the agreement for the Copper Task Force will take place during the second day of the event, within the framework of the "International Conference: Argentina Copper", the first edition of a cycle launched by Panorama Minero aimed at bringing together the entire copper sector in the province, delving into topics related to project development, investment incentives, and exhaustive knowledge regarding the next steps awaiting these major mining centers.

In parallel with these activities, the exhibition will generate more than 2,500 business meetings and will feature exclusive interaction circuits for sponsors, exhibitors, and entrepreneurs. For the community, general admission to the event is free and includes free access to informative talks, live shows and entertainments, along with the opportunity to visit the fair over the three days and connect with suppliers, mining companies and organizations related to mining from both San Juan and across the country.
